How we measure growth

Abrams Digital is a new agency, and we would rather show you exactly how we measure performance than publish invented client results. This page explains what we baseline, what we report, and what we will publish here as engagements mature.

Our measurement framework

The six things we baseline and report

Recorded before any work begins, so improvement is verifiable rather than asserted — including the areas that did not move.

Organic visibility

Rankings and impressions for unbranded, commercially relevant searches — not vanity terms or your own brand name, which you already win.

Local map visibility

Where you appear across a geographic grid of your service area, so we can see the neighborhoods you are winning and the ones you are absent from.

Qualified leads

Form submissions and inquiries that match the services you actually want more of, separated from the ones that waste your team's time.

Phone calls

Calls originating from organic search and your Google Business Profile, tracked so the source of new business is not guesswork.

Website conversions

The rate at which visitors to your most commercially important pages actually contact you — traffic that never converts is not progress.

AI visibility and citations

Whether AI assistants surface your business for a fixed set of prompts a real prospective customer would ask, and whether what they say about you is accurate.

Why this page does not show numbers yet

Almost every agency website displays a wall of percentage increases. A meaningful share of those figures are unverifiable, taken from cherry-picked date ranges, or simply invented — and there is no way for a prospective client to tell which.

We would rather be straightforward about where we are. When we publish a case study here, it will name the client where they have agreed to it, state the timeframe, describe what was actually done, and report figures we can substantiate on request.

If you want to understand how we work before there are numbers to look at, our approach and what we refuse to do is probably the more useful page.

What reporting actually looks like

You receive a monthly report covering visibility, enquiries, and the work completed that period — written in plain language rather than an automated dashboard export.

It includes what moved, what did not, and what we are changing as a result. Months where something did not work are reported the same way as months where it did, because a report that only contains good news is not a report.

How we handle attribution honestly

Marketing attribution is genuinely imperfect, and anyone claiming otherwise is overselling. A patient may find you through a map listing, read your content a week later, ask a friend, and call from a search for your brand name. Most tools will credit the last step.

We track what can be tracked reliably, are explicit about what is inferred rather than measured, and avoid claiming credit for conversions we cannot reasonably connect to the work.

What you get every month

  • Visibility report

Local grid visibility, organic rankings, and AI prompt results against your baseline.

  • Enquiry and call summary

What came in, from where, and for which services.

  • Work completed

Specifically what was changed or produced that month.

  • What is next

The following month's priorities, and why those and not something else.

  • A conversation

A call to go through it, so the report is discussed rather than just delivered.
